Bitter Chocolate, Sweet Grace

“The room was cloaked in darkness, save for the flashes of lightning outside, briefly illuminating the chaos of the storm. The wind howled like a wounded animal, and the rhythmic tap of the rain escalated into a maddened hammering as if the heavens themselves were trying to break through the walls. But beneath the violent ruckus of the storm, the most deafening sound in the room was the shallow, frantic breaths escaping from Chocolate’s chest.
‘Oh my God… I just killed my husband…’ Her voice trembled, cracking with panic. ‘What am I going to do?’”

Sean and Chocolate’s marriage appears unshakable—built on love, joy, and the life they always dreamed of. But when Chocolate feels suffocated by perfection, she pursues independence in a modeling career that brings both opportunity and temptation. Her choices spiral into consequences that threaten to shatter not only her marriage but the very foundation of her family.

What follows is a raw and unforgettable story of betrayal, longing, and the desperate fight for redemption. As Sean clings to hope and Chocolate battles her own brokenness, one question looms over their fractured world:

When everything lies in pieces, will love be enough to save them—or will betrayal destroy everything?

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Birthed Anew: From Pain to Passion to Purpose

“What an awesome soul searching read. The author bared her truths, some of which really hit home for me. As you read through some parts of the book, the author keeps you on the edge of your seat, heart racing, emotions going, and at times laughing and other times crying. Truth… we do not have any choice about the families we are born into and the unfortunate or fortunate situations that may arise from that fact. However, Candace has taken us through a journey , where she has taken the lemons life has given her and she chose to continually make lemonade and rise up into her passion and then life’s purpose with the Awesome Creator of the Universe at the steering wheel of her life. Another beautiful message that was highlighted in the book was forgiveness! What a beautiful and difficult thing. Overall, I give this book 2 big thumbs up and I encourage others to purchase, read, and share. Through the author’s Pain we too can find our voice, which can lead us to our Passion, and ultimately to our Divine Purpose.”
